In 2000, Tourism Development International was appointed by Medway Council to undertake a review of performance and assessment of the potential of visitor attractions in and around the city of Rochester.

The study has resulted in a reorganisation of attractions and museum operations in this historic part of the south east of England. Rochester Cathedral, Chatham Docks and the Dickens Centre are some of the area’s better known attractions.
